Our 37 bed Trauma Medical Unit sees a wide range of patient. We are a dynamic general medical floor and work closely with multiple hospitalist and internal medicine teams. Our specialty is patients with traumatic injuries such as fractures and injuries from falls, motor vehicle collisions, gunshots and those suffering from traumatic brain injuries. We are looking for kink, caring, and compassionate people to care for these patients on what might be their worst days. You will never have a boring day on the Trauma medical Unit!
Here's what you can expect from being an RN on our unit:
I'm interested, what is required for this position?
- You have a current Registered Nurses License in the State of Kansas, and current Basic Life support (BLS) certification through the American Hart Association
- Are you a graduate of an accredited school of nursing? Outstanding!
- We would like to fill this position with an RN who has 1 to 2 years acute care experience
- We believe it's pretty great to be a new or recent graduate nurse. We're considering recent graduates and non-acute applicants as well
