Registered Nurse - Day Surgery
The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a modern, Joint Commission-accredited, 330-bed full-service hospital located in Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls offers a rich variety of outdoor activities with Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson, WY and Sun Valley all within a short drive from our hospital.
PRN Defined: Work minimum of one shift per two week pay period to assist with staffing for coverage of absences for staff planned/unplanned and/or increase in census. The more you are available the more you can work if shifts are available.

The Day Surgery Registered Nurse (RN)
oversees and directs the care of day surgery patients.
*The RN is responsible for the care of patients and serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
*Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
*When the need arises, the RN will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
Current Idaho State Nursing
license and AHA CPR for
Healthcare certification and hospital requirements. ACLS and PALS
within 90 days of hire.
*Prefer one year of medical/surgical nursing,
keyboarding, professionalism, critical thinking and common sense, flexibility,
communicate clearly and concisely, honesty, willingness to serve, clean and
organized and service oriented.
charting documentation skills, phlebotomy and EKG administration.
