PACU - Post-Aneshesia Care Unit
The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a modern, Joint Commission-accredited, 330-bed full-service hospital located in Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls offers a rich variety of outdoor activities with Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson, WY and Sun Valley all within a short drive from our hospital.
PRN Defined: Work minimum of one shift per two week pay period to assist with staffing for coverage of absences for staff planned/unplanned and/or increase in census. The more you are available the more you can work if shifts are available.

*Responsible for caring for patients immediately post
*Assisting with a variety of specialized procedures.
*Must be able to operate and trouble shoot technical
equipment and instruments.
*Demonstrates and performs assessment of the patient and
assists in his/her return to a safe, physiological level after an anesthetic by
providing safe, individual nursing care to patients of all age groups.
*Assesses patients for educational, physiological,
psychosocial, comfort and safety needs
*Assures that the highest degree of quality patient care
is maintained at all times.

Licensure / Certification: Current
Idaho State Nursing license and AHA CPR for
Healthcare certification, ACLS are required. Must obtain PALS certification within 180
days of start date and is required.
Must complete hospital mandatories and departmental orientation, CPAN preferred.
Education: Graduation from accredited
school of nursing
Experience / Abilities: One year of medical/surgical nursing
required, Critical Care experience preferred.
