The Cardiovascular Tech (CV Tech) establishes, implements, evaluates and revises as appropriate, the Plan of Care, based upon continuous assessment and interpretation of biological, psychosocial and environmental data in order to meet the identified patient care / significant other's needs.
Demonstrates accuracy in documentation of all treatments, medications, IV therapies, and blood products. Utilizes a collaborative and interdisciplinary process to provide appropriate patient/family education, based on the plan of care and participates in a coordinated process of care, based on the patient's assessed needs, spanning the illness-to-wellness continuum.

· AS or BS degree in either Invasive Cardiovascular Specialty Technology or Radiology Technology
· Must have a minimum of one year previous Cath Lab experience scrubbing and performing hemodynamic recording on an array of interventional percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, ICD and other cardiac implant (CRM) procedures
· Prefer previous experience with Impella and EKOS procedures
· May consider other clinical and licensed professions such as Registered Paramedic or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) if the applicant has significant previous work experience in a full service interventional cardiovascular cath lab scrubbing and recording coronary and peripheral vascular cases and who are either RCIS or eligible
