This position is for night shift, with a special rate as well as night shift and weekend differentials.
There are three specialty areas, ICU, Med Surg, and ED. Your placement will be dependent upon recent Hospital experience and you will not float from one area to another. Your 13 week assignments will continually be in the same department area and same facility. Once you have completed the assignment, you will move on to your next facility in the same department area.

TriStar Division Market Resource Pool RNs will utilize the nursing model to deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes. Promotes a positive image of nursing and collegiality among healthcare team members.
The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse. Cares for all patients of all ages. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of HCA. Job Duties • Demonstrates age specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients. • Ensures the privacy of our patients and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI). • Utilizes nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients. • Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures. • Documents all patient care. • Demonstrates critical thinking skills. • Promotes customer service initiatives. • Promotes and exhibits teamwork.
· Graduate from accredited school of nursing
· Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
· Current BLS
· Current ACLS
· Two years of acute care nursing experience, with 1 year in specialty area
