The Data Integration Engineer will assist with application development and support to meet business needs. You will demonstrate the ability to understand and assist with the capture and communication of system requirements to Customer Engagement and Architecture teams.  You should be able to understand and learn complex ideas, demonstrate a forward-looking perspective, and assist with tactical decision-making processes. This role should practice attentive listening and display empathy towards others. You should perform all duties with a focus on quality of work and attention to detail with a high level of self-management and self-awareness. This position reports to the Manager of Data Integration.



  •  Assists with the design, development, and maintenance of data integration applications to implement customer requirements

  • Assists in the development of specifications for the bidirectional movement of data between source system and data stores to support Business Intelligence solutions

  • Contributes to development of Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes

  • Knowledge of the use of fault-tolerant, high-performance, and parallel algorithms for data processing

  • Knowledge distributed computing and associated philosophies

  • Supports production loads and participates in root cause analysis for failures

  • Understands and participates in testing applications and ensuring quality products

  • Participates in code reviews and product documentation

  • Encourages and drives cross team collaborations











Bachelor's Degree preferred




A minimum of 1 year of work experience in the following areas:

  • Object-oriented development (Java preferred)
  • Knowledge of version control (Git preferred)

  • Knowledge of parallel and distributed computing

  • Knowledge of common design patterns

  • Linux familiarity

  • Preferred knowledge of Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL)

  • Technical documentation

  • Preferred knowledge Microsoft SQL Server and/or Teradata preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated capability to work in collaborative environment

  • Dedication to continued exploration of technology
