Works independently, with attorneys and other paralegals/legal assistants, Corporate Real Estate Department personnel and other company personnel and/or outside property management companies to handle real estate leasing for the Company, including lease drafting, reviewing, modifications/amendments, terminations, and other aspects of leasing activities undertaken by the Company (as landlord and as tenant), including systems organization and management, electronic routing systems and document routing/approval processes. Assists as needed with real estate transactions, sales, purchases, ground leases, etc.
Ensures leases, timeshare license agreements and other documents needed for the leasing and other real estate transactions and activity of the Company are timely and correctly drafted, amended, reviewed, approved, processed, terminated, etc.
Attends Lease Demand Meetings with Real Estate and Ethics & Compliance departments, and provides followup.
Ensures compliance with internal Company policies.
5+ years of applicable work experience is needed for a successful candidate.
College degree is preferred.
Paralegal Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in paralegal or legal studies is needed for a successful candidate.
