The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing direct clinical pharmacy support, provides clinical informational service to departments outside the Pharmacy, and promotes appropriate, safe, and cost effective drug therapy. The Clinical Pharmacist attends and participates in assigned hospital committee work as directed. The Clinical Pharmacist fulfills departmental responsibilities within the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of the hospital .
Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Evaluation Tool. Demonstrates an understanding to appropriately protect sensitive and confidential information. Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Current TN Pharmacist License
One year hospital experience
Excellent communication and computer skills.
