Introduction

 

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
  • All positions require 1 year of experience.
  • Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.
  • During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
  • Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
  • Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
  • Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.
  • Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024
  • Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    Performs superior/quality Diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages. Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. Participates in Departmental Performance Improvement activities.
     
    Education/Experience Required:
    • Experience working as a radiology technologist preferred.
     License/Certification:
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
    • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    • High School Graduate / GED

Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services. We offer general surgery, orthopedics and women's services. Additionally, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit and behavioral health services. Medical City McKinney is a Primary Stroke Center.
