Job Summary and Qualifications

The Imaging Assistant is responsible for customer service and image distribution for Outpatient Radiology. This includes copying, mailing and delivery of images in a timely and organized manner. Our team is passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family.

What you will do in this role:

• You will greet patients and process required admission documents to include order entry.
• You will respond to patients, physicians and others by telephone and face-to-face to process requests for images and reports.
• You will handle subpoenas for images and reports.
• You will act as a liaison for staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate / division staff and other departments within the facility.

What Qualifications you will need:

• Currently enrolled in good standing in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Has successfully completed the 1st year of the program, and its associated exam competencies.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLCS) upon hire
• Minimum of one year related experience in clinical radiology school setting.
