Job Summary and Qualifications

Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and provides care needed as described in the departmental policies and procedures. Provides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics. Performs routine diagnostic procedures. Provides appropriate health care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  

What qualifications you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology school.  
• Registry eligible with A.R.R.T. and/or RCIS within six (6) months become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist(RCIS)  
• Limited State of NV Flouroscopy License and maintained
• Current BLS
• Required to maintain A.R.R.T and/or RCIS registry
• Minimum two years experience as a Radiographer.
