Job Summary and Qualifications

In support of the Physician Services Group Urgent Care Service Line, the Director of Strategic Business Growth reports directly to the VP of Strategic Business Growth and is responsible for growth and expansion of UC markets and UC centers within the Service Line. Under a combination of administrative and executive direction, provides leadership and directs business growth consistent with strategic plans and objectives established by the Service Line, Physician Service Group and HCA leadership. The Director of Strategic Business Growth, organizes, applies, directs, controls and evaluates the resources needed to achieve the business growth expected. The position uses all resources to generate measurable returns to benefit the company, the community, the physician and most of all, the patient.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Responsible for the business growth of existing and developing markets of the Urgent Care Service line in support of achieving the strategic and operational goals of the company.

· Researches potential markets and locations for business growth opportunities

· Manages the analytics associated with effective urgent care site selection

· Works with Division executive teams to ensure site selection is aligned with Division strategy

· Works to ensure a robust real estate pipeline of identified areas of interest for urgent care

· Maintains a log of site selection activity across the enterprise and prioritizes locations based on development timelines and the attractiveness of the location

· Supports real estate negotiation and lease execution

· Once a site is selected, supports the business plan and financial projection development for review and approval within the Urgent Care Service Line and Division and Group Executive Teams

    · Supports the Director of De Novo and Director of Transitions and Acquisitions as needed to ensure (1) clinics open on time and in an appropriate manner and (2) acquisitions are integrated and operationalized in an appropriate manner

    EDUCATION:

      · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience consists of in depth and up to date knowledge of healthcare administration typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in a business or healthcare related discipline.

      EXPERIENCE:

      · In addition, candidate must possess at least five years practice/healthcare senior management experience required.

        · Experience in Urgent Care or in Ambulatory Care setting is required.
