Position Overview

Position Goal: The Document Management System Admin performs the daily activities to support
the electronic document management systems (EDMS) used by the departments of Galen College
of Nursing. This position will work with the software vendors to ensure the availability and stability
of the system for end users. Additionally, this position will perform the work to create workflows
and other management tasks as necessary to maintain project progress.

 

Position Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Document Management System Admin require a solid set of
organizational skills to manage incoming requests and project work. In addition to the hands-on
abilities to think through moderately complex problems and translate a solution to the Document
Management systems is critical to the success of this position.
1. Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to maintain user access,
document configuration, workflow setup and other needs of the business.
2. Maintain relationships with the CRM vendor(s) to accomplish project and support needs
3. Design and maintain documents, electronic forms, and life cycles/workflows
4. Communicate clearly and regularly with key stakeholders for required and requested
projects and changes
5. Provide training and instruction for users on technical components of the Document
Management Environment
6. Provide reports and performance indicators on the use of the Document Management
Environment
7. Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline,
or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
Experience: 1 - 3 years previous experience in managing enterprise applications
Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Ability to carry personal work devices
Degree of Supervision: Minimal.
