Position Overview 

Galen College of Nursing is looking for a Media Manager to help lead the strategic planning and placement of Galen’s integrated media plan. The ideal candidate is experienced in the strategic placement of both digital and traditional media with proven understanding of demand generation and knowledge of how all channels work together to drive consumer awareness and action. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate on the strategic approach and lead the planning and execution of all integrated media, traditional and digital, working with partner agencies as well as in-house teams to deliver across 15+ markets and growing.
  2. Manage day-to-day communications and campaign management with key media partners: Vendors, Partner Agencies and Creative media and social clients.
  3. Collaborate with marketing leadership and agency teams to develop and execute Galen’s integrated advertising plan to meet college enrollment goals.
  4. Evaluate media agency recommendations against the latest best practices for media strategy and media buying.
  5. Oversee creative traffic and assets and ensure they are aligned with media plan and executed in market at the correct geos/timeframes.
  6. Manage the day-to-day media approvals, invoicing and overall budget management and reconciliation with the support of accounts payable team.
  7. Support the maintenance and evolution of performance marketing reports as it pertains to paid media.

Stay current with the latest paid media trends and technology to make recommendations as necessary on the direction and new modes of communication.


Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience:

  1. 7+ years demonstrated experience with B2C lead generation media campaigns leveraging traditional (TV, radio, print,) and digital (search, OTT/CTV, display, social, etc.)
  2. Experience managing $5MM-10MM+ media plans across multiple markets in the U.S.
  3. Ability to see a marketing plan at a strategic level and use knowledge of traditional and digital media, and how it integrates with owned and earned channels to launch and improve performance of our campaigns.
  4. Experience with modern media research, planning and tracking tools/platforms.
  5. Experience with tagging, tracking, and data integrations which powers Galen’s marketing technology stack.
  6. Ability to travel to campus locations as needed to work with campus leadership on marketing and media initiatives.
