Job Summary and Qualifications

 The Surgical Technologist functions provides assistance to the surgeon during the surgical procedure on all patient age groups in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of the facility. Duties include: room setup, draping, passing of instruments, retracting. This position can not perform the functions of first assistant, ie, dissection or suturing. 

What qualifications you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Minimum of one (1) year of surgery experience preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting required. 
• Skilled in all surgical service lines: Gen, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Urology, Gynecology, ENT, and Robotics.
