Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Medical Technologist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients. Shift is Monday – Friday (7 – 10 hours): day shift with rotating evening/weekend on-call responsibility

What You Will Do In This Role:

You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
You will maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
You will maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
You will assist with laboratory training programs as required.
Analyzes peripheral blood stem cells, cord blood, bone marrow, and cellular therapy products utilized for transplantation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

Blood Bank, or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Lab Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Tech in Molecular Biology, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
