Job Summary and Qualifications

RIn this role you will:

• Provide proficient, age specific, direct and indirect patient care in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures
• Establish standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of Florida.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including mental status, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities

 What qualifications you will need:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and certification.
• 1-3 years of hospital Behavioral Health experience required
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• One year of Acute Care Nursing experience preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We have two full service free-standing ER facilities.
