Job Summary and Qualifications

The Chief CT/Nuclear Medicine/Ultrasound Technologist’s primary responsibility is the supervision and coordination of the Cat Scan, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Department on a daily basis. Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures, CT scans and Ultrasound scans, nuclear radiation therapy, and radiation safety under the supervision of a radiologist in the delivery of high-quality patient care. Coordinate the radiation Safety Committee meetings. 

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILTITES AND LICENSING:

• Must be a high school graduate.
•  Must have satisfactorily completed a two - year training program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
•  Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
•  Current on new procedures and protocol within the Ultrasound and Radiology Departments. 
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Radiologic Technician CRT
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
