Job Summary and Qualifications

Our OR Scheduler will work under the supervision and direction of the department director and will provide scheduling support to all areas of the operating room department.

• You will schedule cases, run reports, and input data, while notifying staff/physicians of any schedule changes.
• You will be responsible for completing charges in a timely manner and troubleshooting any issues with them and the intraoperative screens.
• You will be required to follow-up on a continual basis on all charges that are outstanding and will work with the appropriate parties to reconcile deficiencies.
• You will be responsible for providing daily and monthly reports of statistical data.
• You will complete correspondences and documents for all responsible areas and will provide clerical support to the department.
• Clerical duties include assembling and maintaining charts, filing, answering and transferring phones, and relaying messages.

What qualifications you will need:

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
