Job Summary and Qualifications

• Changes anesthesia circuits, suction tubing, and canisters between cases.
• Cleans anesthesia machines and keeps them properly stocked.
• Cleans and stocks all anesthesia equipment carts.
• Ensures that all preparations are made to meet demand of next day’s schedule and that nurses and doctors are supplied with daily needs for cases.
• Maintains epidural pumps, blood warmers and supplies inventory.
• Learns to set up equipment for special cases. (A-line, Epidural, etc.)
• Knows when to seek assistance.
• Obtains supplies and equipment for special cases and special needs of anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist.

EXPERIENCE:

• EMT or medical background preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
