Job Summary and Qualifications

We are searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient-centered Medical/Surgical team, responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the 5 Central Medical/Surgical Neuro Nursing Department. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN)
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State LPN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

This is a Full Time, Night Shift position. Shifts are 12 hours in length (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). 

Rotating Holidays and Weekends required.
