Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager, Clinical Advisory Services – Pediatric Services, provides support and leadership in establishing clinical goals and priorities, direction of enterprise-wide performance improvement initiatives, development of evidence-based guidance for improving patient care, and advancement of the strategic agenda. This includes assuring alignment of evidence based clinical improvement, compliance, and growth strategies. This individual will work closely with corporate, division, and facility partners to execute on key deliverables.

Major Responsibilities:

•Serves as Clinical Advisor for Pediatric clinical practice and standards of care

•Proactively identifies evidence-based practices and processes for pediatric care by leveraging best available evidence and research to define standards of care.

•Designs implementation of evidence based strategies in collaboration with corporate, division, and facility leaders for improving performance and growth of safe, effective, efficient programs.

•Applies performance improvement principles within projects and programs.

•Leads and collaborates with various teams and subject-matter-experts in the design and implementation of care improvement programs and processes.

•Designs clinical solution programs and improvement strategies in alignment with corporate initiatives.

•Incorporates evidence based practice for monitoring performance, improvement, and outcomes of care.

•Reviews and advises on Pediatric claims as requested

•Reviews Safety Event notifications and engages facility / division teams as needed in partnership with patient safety team

•Drives execution and creates pathways for enhanced systems of performance management.

•Facilitates and coordinates the Pediatric Advisory Board to harvest and evaluate valuable practices with potential to scale across the enterprise.

•Provides project planning, coordination assistance, and performs other duties as assigned.

•Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”

Education & Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree required

•RN required; 5+ years in pediatric clinical care

•Master’s degree preferred
