Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech

 

Corpus Christi MedicalCenter is a 631- bed Health Care System including Bay Area, Doctors Regional,The Heart Hospital, Northwest Regional, Bayview Behavioral Hospital, NorthshoreEmergency Center, Northwest Behavioral Health Center and Radiation Oncology atCorpus Christi Cancer Center.

What you will do in thisrole:

  • Provides criteria for evaluation of the Radiologic Technologistworking in a staff position.
  • Assigned to the Cardiac Cath Lab cares for adult and geriatricpatients.
  • Responsible for assisting the R.N. in assessing, planning,implementing, and evaluating the care of the Cath Lab patient.


Education:
  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Qualifications:
  • Educational requirements appropriate for meeting age-specific needs of patients assigned to the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • ARRT and Radiology Technologist – Texas Department of Health
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
  • Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current registration with ARDMS in Abdomen preferred.
  • Current registration with RVS and Vascular preferred.
  • Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health is preferred (MRT).
