Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Accountant will consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer. The Staff Accountant will represent the company in a professional manner, following all company policies and procedures and be responsible for general accounting functions including financial reporting and support.

What you will do in this role:

· You will maintain multiple general ledgers and be responsible for processing AP invoices, check request in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring accurate coding

· You will prepare monthly journal entries as required, to accurately close the monthly fiscal period

· You will prepare detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support management in the review of monthly operating performance

· You will prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, including documentation to support all balances

· You will prepare accruals for all payables during month end

· You will participate in development and detailed review of annual operating budgets and performance projections

· You will respond to request for information related to both external and internal audits

What qualifications you may need:

· 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required

· 2 years of experience in an Accounting department, preferably in Healthcare
