Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Environmental Services Tech, you will clean and maintain assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Ensure that these activities are performed and in accordance with local codes and legislation, JCAHO guidelines and requirements, and facility policies and procedures.

• You will set up carts with all supplied and equipment according to specifications.
• You will prepare chemicals and germicidal solutions according to formula and label instructions.
• You will observe all safety standards and use safety work techniques at all times
• You will attend all training sessions and meetings as scheduled
• You will instruct and train employees in the use of new equipment and cleaning methods
• You will perform individually or as a member of groups assigned tasks during emergencies, such as fires, snow removal or disasters
• You will respond to requests from patients, physicians and visitors in a courteous and efficient manner, always demonstrate positive interpersonal skills

What qualifications you will need:

Experience

• 1 year of experience in general housekeeping environment

Education

• Graduation from High School or equivalent (Preferred)

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
