Here is some of what you can expect from being an Rehab Unit Secretary with us:
You will perform clerical and receptionist duties
You will train staff as needed for new procedures
You will be responsible for the inventory and ordering process of all non-PAR supplies (medibuy, forms, non-stock pharmacy, and equipment) on a weekly basis in collaboration with the department director
You will be the primary daily Kronos editor for the department
You will be responsible for reconciling the daily log
You will be responsible for the department’s statistical reports
You will maintain the Logicare system to assure accurate statistics and correct phone numbers for referral MD’s
You will maintain Specialty MD call schedule for hospital
You will perform order entry of all lab and radiology for Rehab patients, and ensure adequate coordination of admissions between CAD, Admissions, and the Charge nurse
You will be responsible for the Rehab’s daily reports
You will manage a multi-line phone system and the wireless system
You will be responsible for organizing orientation of new staff to the unit secretary duties
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
