Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will care for a patient population of primarily elective surgical procedures such as orthopedic and total joints, spine surgery, GYN and breast health. This unit optimizes the safety and comfort of our patients during their recovery in a tranquil setting.

• You will provide assessment and care for pre and post-surgical patients to include: total joint replacements, bariatric, orthopedic, general, gynecological, urosurgery, etc.
• Administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs will be your primary job functions.
• You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Our team recognizes and responds to changes in a patient’s condition including post op bleeding, pain issues, post anesthesia complications, etc.
• You will coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
• BLS
• PALS preferred
