Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

• Supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person
• Responsible for answering patient Room Service Calls and assisting them with menu selections in compliance with diet prescriptions and selecting nourishment
• General clerical responsibilities including monitoring menu selections, customer service, and time management

What qualifications you will need:

Experience: Prior health care related food service experience plus previous computer experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have knowledge of therapeutic diets helpful. Ability to operate computer software programs appropriate to the facility and department’s needs. Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and demonstrate strong customer service
