Job Summary:
We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
· Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
· Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
· Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
· Administer Lasix
· Place Foley Catheters
· Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
· Start IV in difficult sticks
· Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator
Job Requirements:
· Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
· Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire
· BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
· ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
· 1 year acute care experience required
· 1 year critical care experience preferred
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
