Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and professional Registered Nurse to become our Organ Transplant Supervisor. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will help us reach the highest quality patient care.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·You will participate in and oversee the comprehensive care of the pre- and post-transplant recipients, including pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant follow-up care.

·You will be responsible for ongoing program development, quality assurance, staff development and promotion of multi-disciplinary program activity in conjunction with all staff and leadership.

·You will assure that all organ offers processed within the previous 24-hour period or previous business day have been processed.


What qualifications you will need:


  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • 3-5 years of Transplant Coordinator or Supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period, demonstrate patient teaching skills and compliance with protocol management of patients.
  • Member of NATCO and UNOS.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

    This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
