We are offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for a limited time. Current HCA employees not eligible.

What you will do as a LPN:

  1. Provide for the clinical management of the patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  2. Possess the knowledge and skill to provide direct care to the patient.
  3. Function as a Team Module leader or Primary Care Provider.
  4. Promote satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff).
  5. Participate in and understands Quality Management activities.
  6. Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  7. Demonstrate understanding of hospital and departmental policy and procedures.
  8. Promote cost effective unit operations.
  9. Document nursing care utilizing the appropriate tools.
  10. Demonstrate an awareness of self-learning needs.
  11. Comply with professional, regulatory governmental and departmental standards.

Education: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing (required)
  • Currently enrolled in a Registered Nursing program at an accredited school (preferred) 

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Current License in Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse (required)
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Health Care Provider (required) 

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of LPN experience (preferred) 
  • Previous LPN experience in an acute care facility (preferred)
