We are seeking a Senior Desktop Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Installs hardware and software for new and existing users. Provides end-user support for PC hardware/software and network connectivity; provides advanced application and operating system troubleshooting in conjunction with other ITG support personnel. Frequently called on to meet with user personnel. With limited direction, defines and determines the best approach to meet the user and implementation requirements for assigned routines. Acts in a leadership role for the group, working directly with management to coordinate with the other Desktop Techs for large projects. Can serve on project teams as a technical representative for the group. Does research for problems and documents solutions for the group. Usually acts as a lead technician for the building if there is more than one technician assigned. Assists in projecting and meeting annual budgets.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Second-level desktop hardware and software support for Nashville Corporate Office
First-level support for connectivity issues and some hardware and software support
Works with corporate asset manager to ensure the accuracy of asset management database about pc related assets/software
Assist with deployments of software/hardware to corporate campus and other project-related implementations e.g. Disaster Recovery testing week, classroom set-up etc…
Creates documentation of best practices as needed
Special project work such as participating in monthly vendor meetings, providing input on projects such as hard drive encryption, assisting 3rd level support with team initiatives and problem resolution, etc.
College graduate preferred with technical training and 5or more years experience. Systems/Network Administration experience in a Windows enterprise environment.
24x7 on-call rotation.
