Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Manager Facility Management Services you will solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business, and will contribute to the development of functional strategy; leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. In this role you will operate with minimal supervision in a complex environment. This position will aid in creating and tracking key performance indicators like budget compliance, FTE utilization rates, team productivity, and will review inspection reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

As a Manager Facility Management Services, your duties will include:

• Mechanical: Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems present in acute care hospitals; including but not limited to HVAC systems, chiller plants, Steam Plants, Medical Gas Systems and Building Automation Systems.
• Electrical: Extensive knowledge of electrical systems present in acute care hospitals; including but not limited to generator systems, automatic transfer switches, paralleling gear and switch gear.
• Regulatory: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA and other healthcare regulatory agencies requirements.
• Ability to understand and apply OSHA standards, CMS, and Joint Commission education requirements, as well as local AHJ standards with consultation for program manager experts.
• Conduct continuing education for team members for best practice training.
• Ability to understand and apply OSHA standards, CMS, and Joint Commission requirements, as well as local AHJ standards
• Track budgets, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions
• Track equipment performance over time, identify aging / failing equipment and recommend corrective actions
• Create efficiency and compliance dashboards for all teams, identify issues and recommend corrective actions
• Track team productivity, identify outliers and recommend corrective actions

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree/Associate Degree (Engineering degree preferred)
• 7-10 years relevant technical experience
• 3-5 years of managerial experience
