We are seeking a(an) CV-VI Radiology Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• You will maintain a high degree of accuracy in Radiologic positioning and exposure techniques.
• You will maintain knowledge about radiation protection and safety. The Radiologic Technologists prepare for and assist the physician in the completion of intricate Radiologic examinations.
• You will prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal and hospital regulations.
• You will be the primary liaison between patients and departmental physicians and other members of the support team.
• You will remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited education program in Radiologic technology.
• ARRT R.T. (R)(denotes successful completion of the ARRT certification examination) (or registry eligible) or
• ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) (denotes successful completion of the computed tomography advanced-level examination)
• 1 year post-graduate experience – optional
• Must obtain CT registration within 12 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke Center.
