Job Summary and Qualifications:

The Registered Nurse-Robotics Operating Room Clinical Coordinator ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What you will do in this role:

• Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
• You will provide assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled case.
  
• You will work alongside surgical teams to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  
• You will assess patients before, during, and after surgery and maintain a sterile operating room.
• You will perform count procedures to protect patient from unintended retained foreign objects as well as perform interventions necessary to ensure the patient’s procedure is performed on the correct site, side, and level.
• You will work alongside surgical teams to ensure that patients receive the best possible care

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• At least one year of RN Perioperative experience required/ Robotics experience required

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)
