  • Acute care positions will require at least 1 year of Acute care experience. 
  • At least 1 year of experience is required in the specialty for which the new hire is being hired into, and that experience must be within the last 5 years.
  • Any Sign On Bonus exceptions must be reviewed/approved by the site HRVP.

 

 

 

 

 

   Work Schedule: Full-Time Nights 7p-7a(Rotating Weekends)

      POSITION SUMMARY:

       

      Under the supervision of the nurse manager or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs of the complex monitored patient.  Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the AACN Standards and the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission of the goals of the organization.  Leads in planning, directing, and implementing programs related to services line.

      POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

      Education and Training Experience Required

      • Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

       

      CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:  Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      • RN with current licensure or RN with temporarypermit to practice from  the Board ofNurse Examiners for the State of Texas
      • Current BCLS certification
      •  Current ACLS certification (New Graduates  nurses with less than one year RN experienceand/or nurse interns hired into these areas will have 3 months to complete theACLS course
      • Current Specialtycertification preferred
