Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry full time nights (rotating weekends)

With 320 beds and a team of more than 500 physicians representing over 35 specialties, we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services.
What you will do in this role:
Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse
Practice with emphasis on the GI patient.
Use therapeutic communication in daily practice
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual patients
Provide emotional support of the patient and significant others to make informed choices regarding health care
Delegate tasks to the appropriate caregiver
Participate in GI Lab specific initiatives and process improvement
Promote a supportive environment
Maintain high quality (age specific) care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, as assigned
Support the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN preferred
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
Minimum six months of Acute Inpatient experience preferred.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
