Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Performs various carpentry and general construction tasks on construction and renovation projects.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education: None

Required Experience: Five years in all phases of commercial construction, but not limited to: Metal stud wall framing, Door installation, Sheetrock hanging, Ceiling framing (drop ceilings, soffits and hard ceilings), Concrete Placement and Formwork, Finish carpentry (trim work, case work, miscellaneous items such as pictures, whiteboards, soap dispensers, etc.), Demolition (block and brick removal, metal stud and sheetrock removal, floor and ceiling removal), And carpet and resilient flooring installation and repair. Be able to read blueprints and specifications. Basic carpenter tools required.

Preferred Experience: Training/experience in areas of hospital construction, floor installation.
