Job Summary and Qualifications

FLOWER MOUND EMERGENCY CENTER REGISTERED NURSE – PART-TIME NIGHT SHIFT 7P-7A 

Our Flower Mound ER RNs raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. As a FMED RN, you will work in a fast-paced setting with patients requiring urgent treatment due to a life-threatening medical condition, illness or injury as well as patients with less serious conditions.

What you will do in this role:

• Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Deliver patient education/follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals

What qualifications you will need:

• ADN required / BSN preferred
• Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Must have at least two (2) years ER RN experience in an acute care hospital

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
