Duties and Responsibilities: RN ICU
- Plan and provide individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family and community.
- Possess knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the particular skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the ICU
- Accountability for their practice and care coordination. P
- Practice autonomously utilizing evidence based practices.
The practice of the Registered Nurse will support the mission, vision and values of Medical City Frisco – A Medical City Plano Facility and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications to be considered
Required education:
- Diploma/Certificate ADN, BSN preferred
Required experience:
- Nursing: 2 years
- Critical Care: 1 year experience required
Required license or certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- ACLS, BLS
About Us:
Medical City Frisco operates as an acute care hospital with services including orthopedics, neurosurgery, gynecology, pediatric surgery, bariatrics, general surgery, ENT, robotics, and ER. Additional services, including OB and cardiovascular treatment, will be added in the future. Our facility currently has 74 beds, 12 state-of-the-art operating suites including two DaVinci robots, a 24/7 emergency room, a full-imaging department with a 64-slice CT, MRI and fluoroscopy, a fully accredited lab, and a blood bank.
