Why choose to be a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Sky Ridge Medical Center:

  • You will be responsible for patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. 
  • You will be responsible for directing and coordination all patient care based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
  • You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • You will serve as a resource nurse when orientated and directed.  Supports the organizational vision and mission.  Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.  Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance and improvement techniques that demonstrates positive outcomes in patient care.

Qualifications for being a Pediatric Registered Nurse:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS (recommended), PALS and or ENPC
  •   1 to 2 years Pediatric nursing desired.
