Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center.  The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, NeuroOrthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women. Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. County-designated STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member of Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ECMO) and certified by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care.

SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE (36hrs per week) SHIFT: Days with rotating weekends.

**$20,000 Sign On Bonus**

 

Job Summary

If you are looking to advance your management career track, this opportunity is for you!  The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a key member of the unit based leadership team. The CNC is responsible for managing patient-centered care coordination within the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to Regional Medical Center vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum:  Valid California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred:  Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum:  2 years clinical experience in applicable clinical area

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred:  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
