Job Summary: 

The Food & Nutrition Cook will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for enhanced preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees. 

What you will do in this role: 

• You will prepare and cook to order foods that may require short preparation time. 
• You will prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided 
• You will read food order or receives verbal instructions on food required by patron, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions. 
• You will provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times 
• You will follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments. 
• You will comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. 

What qualifications you will need: 

• High School Degree / Equivalent preferred 
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate preferred Banquet/Server experienced preferred 
• 1 year of food service experience required (must be provided on application and/or resume)
