Job Summary and Qualifications

At Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, we are looking for a compassionate and reliable registered nurse in our PACU unit to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital. While providing clinical and administrative support on the unit, you will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient’s needs. · Demonstrating knowledge and competency in hemodynamic and airway management of patient care will be a daily requirement of this position

· As a PACU nurse, you will provide discharge planning and patient education involving patient/significant other/family

· You will perform clinical management of patient care according to PACU standards and policy/procedure for all surgical procedures on all levels of care

Requirements

• Must hold a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia
• ADN degree (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS, PALS, & ACLS certification
• Two years Medical /Surgical nursing or one year Medical/Surgical nursing and one year Critical Care nursing (may include ED)

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
