We are seeking a GME Residency Program Coordinator, responsible for directing the Graduate Medical Education administrative activities for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program in conjunction with the physician program directors, the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and the GME Office.
What you will do in this role:
You will manage recruiting activities for the residency to include managing the Electronic Residency Application System for (ERAS) for program applicants, screening candidates, preparing and submitting rank lists, preparing and submitting new hire paperwork and planning departmental orientations.
You will work alongside the program director to maintain program accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and maintain data fields on the Accreditation Data System (ADS).
You will prepare and coordinate materials and resources for the ACGME site visit reviews and work directly with the ACGME site visitor to plan the site visit schedule and provide all documentation requested by the reviewer.
You will develop and implement residency and fellowship program policies as required by the ACGME, in conjunction with physician residency directors and the GME Office and monitor duty hours and AGME Survey Completion to ensure compliance.
You will create and maintain resident and fellow didactic schedules, schedule and proctor In-Service exams and arrange appropriate elective rotations for residents and fellows.
You will participate in annual budget planning and implementation, monitor and track the budget throughout the fiscal year and create and post rotation schedules.
You will prepare required duty hour, evaluation, and procedure reports and analyze data for compliance with process and for trainee and program compliance with ACGME requirements.
What Qualifications you will need:
High school equivalent is required, Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Prior administrative and project management experience is required, ideally in the Healthcare setting.
Prior administrative and project management experience in Graduate Medical Education is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills are required.
