The Telemetry Unit at Grand Strand Medical Center is looking for a part-time day shift LPN to join the family!

2 North (Telemetry)is a fast paced 38-bed unit, we utilize a dynamic care team of C.N.A.’s and R.N.’s to manage the care of our cardiac patients. Cardiac Telemetry monitoring includes Pre and Post cardiac procedures, pacemaker insertions, cardiac drips, EP studies, and medical-surgical patients that require monitoring.

Our goal at Grand Strand is to run the team model: 1 RN + 1 LPN + 1 PCT to 9-10 patients. 

What you will do in this role: 

• You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients as directed by the RN 
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders 
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing 

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State LPN license 

• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
