Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Lead is a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and maintains an ARRT license with advanced certification in CT. The CT Lead demonstrates proficiency in performing patient assessments and ensures proper documentation is completed in accordance with facility policy. The CT Lead is also knowledgeable of surgical/sterile procedure for specific special procedures and has thorough operational knowledge of all related equipment such as CT Scanners, contrast injectors, IV pumps and patient monitoring devices.

Specific Elements and Essential Functions

  • Strives to exceed expectations of internal and external customers: Patients, families, physicians, colleagues, visitors and vendors.
  • Demonstrates appropriate communication skills in all interactions (AIDET).
  • Interacts with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Provides first line supervision of CT Technologists (and students when applicable.)
  • Anticipates and provides resolution to issues based on the needs and expectations of our customers. Channels concerns appropriately through chain of command; deals with conflict appropriately, timely and privately.
  • Treats others with respect at all times; maintains a work environment free of harassment, hostility, threats or violence.
  • Maintains certifications (ARRT and BLS), education and development appropriate for position.
  • Participates in annual review and revision of protocols

Education:

2 yr Associate Degree/Diploma ( ) Post Graduate Degree

License/Certification (specify) ARRT- CT within 6mo of hire

Experience:

2– 3 years as a CT Technologist

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
