The Manager of Disaster Recovery/EEOC (Enterprise Emergency Operations Center) is based in Nashville, TN and is responsible for the planning, execution, and testing of various IT disaster recovery scenarios. They will provide expertise in identifying the organization’s risk to internal and external threats. They will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of HCA Healthcare’s information systems and technology. The individual will provide expert level knowledge in risk management analysis and will help drive and maintain IT business continuity plans and IT disaster recovery plans. They will consult with various IT product and business owners to ensure that any system design is taking into account an appropriate disaster recovery solution.
The manager will ensure HCA Healthcare’s disaster recovery team is meeting our IT security standards and meeting the needs of our key stakeholders – including work preparing for and activities during Enterprise Emergency Operations. The manager will also ensure the team meets all standards and expectations required of any high performing organization within ITG at HCA.
Major Responsibilities
This position will have a direct reporting staff of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery team members to support ITG (IT Group) Operations. This position is a working manager position – pitching in and leading from the front will be expected. |

Education & Experience
• | Bachelor's degree Information Systems | Preferred |
• | 7+ years of experience in a Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery role | Preferred |
• | Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certificate of the BCI (CBCI) | Preferred |
• | Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) or Member of the BCI (MBCI) within the first year of hire | Preferred |
