Job Summary and Qualifications

The Physician Service Representative assists in coordinating communications for the surgical department, interdepartmentally and with physician’s offices. He/She assists in ordering supplies and other assigned duties. The Physician Service Representative directs communication from and with the various nursing units. The person in this position is responsible for the smooth generation of all secretarial functions. He/She schedules operative procedures, tracks surgical statistics, generates the daily surgery schedule, and reconciles the daily charges for surgery and anesthesia.

1-3 years experience
