Food and Nutrition Services Technician

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is a 139-licensed bed, general acute care hospital. Our services include the latest, state-of-the-art medical technology and equipment, well-respected area physicians, and an upscale five-star hotel-like ambiance. Designed with patients and physicians in mind, HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress aims to be the hospital of choice for the northwest corridor.

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

• Operates cash register, receives payments of cash, checks, and charges from customers or employees for food items, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Maintains proper security of cash at all times. Understands and follows all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend
• Inventories and keeps all services areas stocked. Arranges coffee bar supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstations, tables, chairs, and equipment following all Sodexo, client, and regulatory rules and procedures to ensure the safe and acceptable appearance of the dining area.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum Experience: 6 months to 1 year preferred.
